my teenage life ...

Yup ... talking about my teenage life ... it has passed quite a long time. I just checked out one of my "little" friend's photo albums ... looking @ the pictures they took when they depart the airport ... it makes me think back the day that I was in the airport, and there were couple of my cloest friends standing next to me while I tried really hard not letting any tears out ... it's all history la, where are they now ? All in HK ... what are they doing, I don't know.

I guess all I miss now isn't any particular person, but the relationships I had with them ...

Day 6 (50,000 ft up)

This is always one of the picture I really like up in airplane ... it feels like you're in North Pole, with snow all over the ground, and a little mountain there ... It really matches what the Chinese used to think ... some "sun sin" lives on top of the cloud watching us. I think this picture ends my 5-day journey of Austin, San Antonio and Houston. Have to get back to work so early today ...  

I know it's a little too much of these pics .. haha, but just can't resist ... I just wonder when I can hike around all these cool mountains ... especially this one looks like the triangle close to HK, JuKong  

From the airplane ... somewhere around Grand Canyon ... can't take the Grand Canyon since it's on the other side of the plane ... I wonder when the bottom of airplane can be transparent .. haha .. and probably it'd make most of the passenger sick anyway. 

Day 5 (Austin, Texas)

Congratulation, my friends ... both are very good friends of mine. I used to have dorm food with Shirley almost everyday, of course, I have to pay her $2 for each meal ... and this is how I gained so much weight plus cholestrol ... This is my big reason coming back to Austin to witness this important moment. I was the one bring Shirley to our Chinese Catholic Society and there they met and now they married. I have never be a match maker, but this is truly a good match by our lovely God.  

Day 4 (San Marcos, Texas)

This is how the Schlotzsky's Deli looks like, for those of you never seen and never taste it ... it makes me hungry now ...  

Another favorite restaurant that I cannot find in CA. Schlotzsky's Deli announced earlier that it might close down all its branch ... oh well, I hope not ... it's so yummy ... and unique ...  

Day 3 (San Antonio/Houston, Texas)

Inside the Rudy's dining area ... looks like I better clean up ... and get some rub for friends & family ...  

Rudy's ... one of my favorite Texas BBQ place, it claims to be the "worst" BBQ in Texas ... every store has a gas station and convenient store plus the kitchen ...  

Day 2 (San Antonio, Texas)

Look closer ... Have you ever seen a police car having a flat tire ?  

Day 1 (Austin, Texas)

Oyster ... hm ... it doesn't taste as I expected ... dun worry, the Cajun comes the last, which is the best !! yeah ...

Cajun seafood from Boiling pot ... i still feel those spice now and my throat still burns, but it really makes u feel so good .. can't taste it anywhere in the Bay Area. 

Gaudalupe ... just like another usual university avenue ... however, here gives me the unique smell and taste of my early "immigration" life. 

Cheese steak ... yummy, from Texadelphia ... a place I personally and many other alumni highly recommend ... This is the BEST !! 

An indoor basketball in the same apartment ... I played a lot in the "old" days, when I have so much free time. 

This is the very first apartment that I lived when I first come to US 8 years ago. And surprisingly, most of my good friends now live there ...  

As usual, I couldn't sleep until 2 or 3 the Bay Area time ...
I woke up around 10 ... and i am able to get around the area okay easy ... since I used to stay here for more than an year.
I got a JavaLuka Mint Creme Cookie Oreo Coffee from Seattle's Best Coffee ... ya ... rite ... Seattle & Coffee ... they said they improve the so-called Seattle Coffee.. but i am not sure .. maybe I should order something more plain and hot

Hang out with an old buddy ...

It's been over 2 or 3 years that I haven't met with him ... and not even chatting much over phone nor icq ... i was about to kill him when I see him ... haha ... but suen so la ... it's been a fun nite, we had sushi with his girlfriend, Wanda and also SeeYu in Ray's Sushi. It's a feast .. with tons of raw fish ... seriously, i haven't been that "ho" for a long time ... and stupid enough, i went to restroom in the wrong time ... and SeeYu got the bill ... it's quite a bad feeling for me ... anyhow ... i'm sure i'll buy a good dinner for her next time ...

and this crazy SeeYu suggested to go to SF for some nice view and drinks ... okay ... for Iggy .. I'll do it .. haha ... so we endup went to CityScape after "hit the door nail" in Hilton ... and we had quite some good talk ... luckily, we will see each other very soon in Austin again ...

My Birthday ...

Today is my birthday !! ... as most people say, after the 25th birthday, all you need is only 1 person to celebrate with you. And that important person brought me to this wonderful performance ... surprisingly, I enjoyed it so much that I think this is the best gifts ... Seeing all these disabled people trying their best to do something that's more challenging for them. For instance, a mentally challenged boy can conduct the UC-Davis symphony while he knows nothing about music .. and a disformed man plays "yee woo" so well ... and also some deaf ladies can dance simply by feeling the floor vibration ... How amazing God treats us, providing us with different kinds of talent that we never thought we use so extensively ... Thank you !! 

Never seen a CalTrain that full

A day of CalTrain .. Today is Free weekend CalTrain day, since the weekend CalTrain started after being stopped running for around 23 months. Here is the Mercury newspaper reporter taking pictures of some young riders. I never seen a CalTrain that full, people has to stand almost all the way, and I was lucky to get a seat with all my luggage.

This is a bad experience ... man, the cops dunno how fast I'm definitely ... although i was speeding a little bit, but the time they were after me, I'm sure i was below 75 .. and they put me down as 80+ ... damn it ...
